The C-Train station in the foreground and the Alberta
College of Arts in the background. The SAIT campus
is right next door to the ACA. |

This is the pedestrian crossing at the SAIT
Station |
|

Looking back at the SAIT station from the other side |

The C-Train Station pedestrian crossing at the other side |

The C-train goes all the way to downtown Calgary, this is
the bridge crossing 10th street (I think) |

Just outside of the Ctrain station is a big soccer field and
the old Heart building's Heritage hall. Heritage hall
was built back in 1905 or so, and SAIT expanded it by
putting in a modern structure attached to the back of it |
|

A close up look at Heritage hall, Senator Burns building is
on the right |

Senator Burns building complex |

Just behind Heritage Hall is the attached Heart building,
you can see the transition from old bricks to the new
building |

A tree just outside Heritage hall |

The back of the newer Heart building, inside is a lot of
class rooms, a big lunch hall, and the library |

Inside the glassy structure of the Heart building |

The lunch hall of the heart building, you can see the other
"outside" wall of Heritage hall, which is intergrated into
Heart building |

And a close up look at Heritage hall's wall, there are a
couple of pedestrian bridges connecting to the inside of the
building |
|

The lunch hall below and classrooms on both sides, and
Heritage hall just up front |

Near the Heart building is the Senator Burns building, which
houses mostly girls, I think! Anyway all the girls
come to classes here, probably learning how to sew. |
|

Across the street from Senator Burns are the local campus
residence. The new building on the right and the old
(and currently abandoned at 2005) on the left |

And right by the Residence is the Thomas Riley building,
which contains mostly stinky guys mumbling about "S" and "F"
all the time. |
|

The study and lunch hall |

SAIT Power Lab |
|

Inside this building is the SAIT Powerlab, which is called
the TransAlta Epi Center, whatever that means |

Inside the Power Lab is a fully functional John Inglis
boiler, a steam turbine connected to an electrical
generator, which can produce power and supply it back to the
grid. Also in this room is a hot water heating boiler,
a turbine model, and a small fire tube steam boiler |
|

Just right next door is another fully functional Boiler
called the "Volcano", the Volcano boiler room also houses
the Moores Turbine and generator unit. |

The side of the volcano boiler |
|

Housed on the second floor of the Volcano boiler room is an
air conditioned control room |

Right behind the control room is the Moores turbine and
generator unit. |
|

The control panel for Volcano boiler, all of the functions
can be controlled inside the control room as well.
